I am new today to this forum. Hello all. I just bought a 2006 Hayabusa. So glad I found all of you.

Fantastic. This guy has 12000 miles. I was testing my throttle today after fixing the stickiness with a dremel and my neighbor came over to say that was the sweetest sound he ever heard from a motorcycle. I have a ZX10r also and he has an R1.

:welcome: and best greetings to florida

where it so nicely warm, i suppose,
contrary to here in berlin, germany :(

little recom. ;) - if not yet available, try to get somewhere the gen1 manual (as a pdf, e.g.) asap
(my bros :) @rubbersidedown sadly only have the ´99 manual & the 3 extensions til ´02 but at all mechanical questions til ´07 this will be very helpful to have - even me with my large collection of various manuals, mostly / predominantly in german ;) , never found the ext. for the years ´03-´07 in english)

and if you want some information beyond the manual(s), have a look at my homepage here.

Thank you all. I will look for the owners manual and consult this website frequently. Glad to be here.
man?

the owners manual (half letter sized) is nice to have and you can read it once
while your next visiting your friends called "Villeroy & Boch" to "feed your sewer" /

what you really need, is, what ever issue you wanna / have to fix , the gen1 (´99-´07) service manual with around 660 (or more) pages.

have an eye for the " bay" - sometimes these books are offered there for a cheap price.
