Irregular flash rate

Morning,

i recently installed the combined tail light/indicator LED and because i have left the incandescent bulbs up front i have installed 2 x resistors to slow the flash rate down in the rear.
my problem is that now i have an irregular flash rate and happens when the engine revs a little,
i have checked the charging system and is @13.9-14.2volts even when @2-3000rpm.
would a faulty flasher relay cause this?
i have ordered a new 7 pin led compatible relay which i can still use my conventional bulbs up front.

I actually did this same thing on mine, standard front bulb and an Intergrated tail lamp. I put in one of those relays with no resistors, it blinks a tad slower than stock but does work. I've been running that setup since the start of last summer with no faults or errors like you have mentioned.

When you install the new flasher it should all work out.
If not do a search for Flasher mod, and all those remedies in that thread work great.
