Is my engine sounding weird?

After a month and a half of sitting, I started her up, warmed up the engine and took it outside to record an exhaust video/sound clip for a member here. In the video I'm hearing the engine make a rough sound on the upper rev range and now I'm paranoid.

Lend me your ears and help me out. Is the engine breaking up or is that sound from hitting the limiter, which I tend to avoid? I wasn't looking at the gauges, so I don't know if I did hit it.

Oh, that rough sound is pops? If that's the case, I'll let them be, 'cause these slip-ons are quiet as is. Might as well leave any additional sound cagers can hear from the bike.

limiter testing while bike stands is the best way to kill the engine - sorry but only idiots do so - a bit harsh words but the truth .

As said, DON'T free rev it hard like that, that is how con-rods escape thru the crankcase.
It's disrespectful of your lovely Gen 3 engine too.
Just ride and have fun!
