is  TRE a good first mod?

I am having a hard deciding to commit to spending money on modding her up. I have a feeling in 2006 i will trade her in, but i can always take everything off and put it on the new one rigth? unless they change it all...hahah

Anyway.

I have already swapped wheels with another 2004 so that it has all black instead of that dumb chrome lip. A new set of Metzler's on the Front and Back. Integrated taillights,kickstand mod, fender elim. with stock tail.


Now i want to do some performance, although i am so happy with it now.

I think i want to start with a TRE..fix all the Timing Retard, and get rid of the Speed Limiter.

Next Full TI Force Exhuast, Small air box mod, and Power Commander.

not sure about the pair valve mod. Has anyone done it? You like it? what exactly does it do???

The BIG CHEESE!! wassup man...i live in austin. I am good friend with Glen and Steve... ( Steve...nitorous Busa..been rebuilt.) Glen has a 03 black and silver slammed bike.

We have talked on the phone about 2 months back. For everyone to know Johnny was quick to respond even though he is very busy, and i had no clue what i wanted. i was going to boost her, but i dont think i am interested in that anymore.

Don't waste your money on a tre...Cheapest bang for the buck is to put a 16th sprocket on the front...

Actually the best first mod is to take the stickers off the tank if you haven't and remove the reflectors. These must be done as soon as you get the thing home. My next mod is the windscreen. I hate a see through screen so I swapped that. Not sure if you have done those if not thats the step I would take before I was talking exhausts and power commanders and ect.
