Is the site slow for everyone??

I've been trying to upload jpg or gif since last night. The files are 161kb and 294kb. Plenty small enough, I've upload pics a million times

I finally got it to work, I shrunk the pic to 50.4kb and it works.  Is 409.6kb still the max??
