I think the first thing that needs to go is the term "Libtard" there are two political alignments in the US, Democrat or Republican.....there are good and bad people who align themselves with either political body....
When people stop labelling other people because of this political alignment, things will be much smoother...
There are hard left and hard right aligned people but these are the extremists and like every other extremist of any ideology, they are impossible to deal with and are completely locked into their way of thinking with no possibility of having any sort of open mind....I've dealt with some of these people and they are scary....

You've just pretty much agreed with my point. America has become extreme. You can't be middle of the road anymore. If I want to stem the flow of illegal immigrants under a Republican. It means I'm racist because the Democrats state it's a racist policy.

America used to find political compromise. And we all knew that was the job of who we elected. Now all of our choices in leadership, are bad ones.
I voted for Obama. In his 1st term. While I didn't for his 2nd term, I still respected him. Because he was more presidential. Even if I disagreed, he didn't take the cheap shots like everyone since him. He never made me hate him because of what he tried to call someone who disagreed with him.
Now we have presidents (and hopeful ones) calling their opposition various names. Clinton called her opposition Deplorables. This month Biden has to throw out MAGA Republicans. Who the hell are they Mr President? I wish to Make America Great Again. If a candidate wants to do the same, then step up and show us how they plan to. Rather than find a way to make someone feel bad for embracing that idea.
I hate that Trump had to attract the pond scum he did to get elected. He is no better than a Liberal for doing that. I will never endorse that aspect of him.

Like the Afghanistan withdrawal Biden had plenty of time to prepare for title 42 ending. He did nothing on both until the problem smacked him in the face. They ridiculed Trump when he said he wanted to put troops on the border. Racist xenophobic and a dozen other terms. Now guess what? Biden sends 1500 troops to the border. He’s doing exactly what he mocked his predecessor for doing.
I can’t but help thinking that the hatred in this country politically has a lot to do with all the mass killings. From both sides.

It is a story that tells you the cunning and lack of character of Soros and his inner circle that includes John Paulson and Steve Minuchin. How would you like to make a 100K on every 500K of property you run through a short sale? This is of course at tax payer expense.
Soros, Paulson and Minuchin were major stock holders of One West Bank when Indy Mac bank failed and all the properties that defaulted were run through short sales with One West Bank being the main beneficiary of the profits from the short sales. This operation was partially funded with money from the FDIC. It was another big corporate welfare situation for One West Bank to the tune of multiple millions. I forget how much.

Why did the police stand down while listening to shots fired and children dying?
Something terrible was allowed to happen that day.
If I were policeman on the job that day I would have found a way to escape the other police and go inside and hunt down the killer and kill him if I could. I could never stand outside and listen to children die while armed and ready to face the killer.
Well, I guess that makes me a rouge cop then, doesn't it? so be it... if successful then charge me with murder of the killer of multiple children inside the school that day and see how that goes over in the neighborhood.
Wouldn't be great to have Bragg show up and put his opinion of an act of bravery on the airwaves?

Nobody could have pulled off the Afghanistan withdrawal....they flew into a hostile airport surrounded by bad actors and not under any controls....
The country was already in Taliban hands so there were very few available options.
It reminded me of pictures during the withdrawal out of Viet Nam.
These are the risks of long term occupation of another far away country....like in many things, lessons learned are quickly forgotten...
There hasn't been a war won since WW2 and even that was a dubious win as it cost $billions and billions to get Europe back to being livable and was the beginning of the Cold War era.

The type and characteristic of the type of person you described is in abundant supply. The big money and power of this world aren't interested in a fair system of governance.
