It just doesn't stop

Did anyone watch the Jake Paul/Tyson fight?

Did anyone think it was a staged money grab?

I did.
Jake Paul's contract stated that in order for Tyson to get his full pay, it had to last at least 7 of the 8 rounds, and he later offered Tyson a bonus for 8 rounds.
The contract also stated that Tyson could Not throw any uppercuts...his signature KO punch.
Tyson's constant glove biting was his show of restraint to keep from killing Paul, lol.
Had the bout been labled an exibition, it would have been more belivable, vs a sanctioned fight, which didn't help Paul's credit with his doubters.
Tyson and Paul are also friends, and Tyson has said several times how his family loves Jake Paul, so it's no suprise that they worked together, and laughed all the way to the bank.
I wonder how much betting they both did too?
The real sad part is all the bs that a 58 year man just couldn't do it anymore...bs...Tyson could've knocked him out at any given moment.

I thought Tyson looked a lot older than 58, from the neck upwards.

It appears as if we may see another show, Tyson versus Holyfield. Apparently big buddies now, the ear biting is forgiven.

I thought the fight was sad. The undercard was much better even though the women’s fight was a robbery. 58 years is too old in terms of physical ability. Tyson’s legs were completely gone by the end of the fourth round. Paul wouldn’t last 60 seconds with a young Tyson, but that’s not the situation.

Who knows?
Jake Paul has actually done alot of good for boxing, but after the Tyson fight...he lost alot of credit.
It didn't help with how bad Netflix's service was either.
The broadcast lock-up and buffered dozens of times, they were clearly not prepared.
What was to be(and could have been) a great Tyson showing and knock-out, became a huge flop that upset alot of people.

You have to really work at understanding what is real and what is not real in life. Thrown in with a bit of sense of humor needed also. And when it comes to demeaning, I could easily be your student.

Some of us would perceive the video below as hilarious.

I thought Paul showed a lot of respect at the end of the fight and the interview after. I know he’s brash and his brother is worse, but I thought Jake handled himself well conduct wise.

It was staged and planned ahead.
Tyson could have easily destroyed him.
Does anyone really belive after seeing Tyson train; that he would throw a few punches and run the rounds out?
Lmao
Look at the contract.
8 rounds Tyson's payday...which he would Not get if he knocked Paul out before...and no uppercuts.
Anyone that couldn't watch that fight and see it, doesn't know boxing or fighting...that was a work.

Once again, anyone who has boxed, done martial arts, and knows fighting basics...can watch that fight and see it as the work that it was...it was an exibition...and a sad one at that.
I agree with the 2 minute rounds, of course it was an exhibition and for different reasons, totally agree it was sad. However, I don’t agree that Tyson threw it. His legs were obviously gone half way through. Anybody that has boxed should have seen that.

"His legs were gone", lol
The only reason people are saying that is because Roy Jones jr said it 4 or 5 times, and when they clearly were not.
Jones was selling(over selling) the script.
Tyson wasn't gassed, he wasn't wobbly, if his knee was hurt so what, he could've KO'd Paul at any time.
That was a show, and a bad one at that.

I saw it at the end of the fourth round when he was walking back to his corner. He looked all of his 58 years old, looked more like 78.
I really don't give a flying eff, Tyson is iconic but I've always maintained that Ali, Foreman or Frazier would have taken him out in their prime. I still respect Tyson for his place in boxing history, and hated to watch that.

It was all about a pay day....big money was made from this event.....and I'm thinking Tyson needed money....

No doubt, and he took a chance at humiliating himself for that money. It wasn’t that terrible, but still a shame to watch a shadow of his former self. I didn’t enjoy it at all. The first fight of that card was the best, and the women both showed a ton of heart.
