Disaster of historic proportion. BP should be banned from all businees activities in the USA until every last drop is gone gone gone !
When they find salmonella in a peanut butter factory does the factory continue to seel PB ? NOPE !
So why when BP Fs up they get to keep selling gas ?
Is this not a double standard ?

Now over 100 boats involved in cleanup have been recalled cuz folks are falling ill and have been taking to Hospital. This is sad and very aggravating.
Let one drop of oil wash up here in Palm Beach and Oh boy...........
Heads are gonna roll cuz when the 'four footers'..i.e..retirees get pissed BP better run and .
Most powerful political body in the country and they wont be happy with no Canasta on the beach Sunday morns...

The president is holding a live press conference at this moment. At this point, he has not mentioned this. He is however talking about suspending actions to drill off the coast of Alaska and Virginia.

I must live under a rock. The president just said that he signed an executive order on this matter last Friday; did anyone else hear of him signing this executive order?

What about all the natural gas bubbling up along with the dad gum oil ?
Why is nobody mentioning this. Oil can be cleaned up , gas cannot .
It is depleting the o2 levels in the water and is much worse than the oil itself !

ha they stopped the top kill ran out of heavy mud, waiting for more! these engineers are idiots. hey when you get to half a tank get some more before you run out. how hard would it be to cut off the old pipping and weld a new pipe over the head of the blow out preventer with a shut off valve!!!! problem solved

I believe the mud is Barite and we used to get it in 100lbs bags and had to mix it in a hopper by hand. This is not fun work in 90° heat and full protective clothing.

I am sure they have better methods now though.

The pressure coming out of the pipe is extremely high. Think of it like this you ever tried to fix a busted water pipe with no cut off. PITA This is just that on a much bigger scale.

bp iasthe largest refiner of oil in the country, w/o them your precious gas and pretty much every product you touch would be thru the roof.
