Jamie Hacking Suspended indefinitely

Apparently after his open display of disgust for Jason Disalvo and the DMG run AMA "Pro Sportbike" Class rules Jamie Hacking vented a bit too much and the DMG/AMA have now suspended him indefinitely or until he pays them a fine and says he's sorry. If you go to about 3:37 into the video Hacking starts popping off to DiSalvo in the interview and apparently it escalated from there. Poor Danny Eslick is caught in the middle of this one. This video stops short of showing the whole thing so if someone has the 411 on in please advise.

I thought this is what DMG wanted ??? ? Real Life Conflict, just like in NastyCar ! You know Steward Vs Everybody Else

Hacking and Eslick talking to each other while DiSalvo was giving his interview speech and JD took offense. No secret that there's little love between Jamie and Jason, and apparently after the cameras were off and they were leaving the press area, Jamie told him in no uncertain terms what he thought of him.
Another write up of the rest of the story.. Cycle News | Hacking Fined, Suspended

Note at the end of the article, Mladdin is on probation for skipping the autograph session now too.

After reading the artical, DMG has lowered the competition to a Club Fixed Racing series. I would think Buell will win somehow no matter what it takes. Then DMG can have an American Bike Win for publicity no matter how !

Next Week will be the Beer Buba 200

I think your right on the money there. The DMG wants a spectacle good or bad to get people to watch. Maybe if they start having wannabe Country and western singers and American Idol refugees singing the national anthem... Or maybe we could invent some stupid azz ground hog cam like the one NASCAR is so proud of now maybe that would do it!:rofl::rofl::beerchug:

I really miss he days when riders were truly professional, and conducted themselves appropriately. If they went on a rant, it was not because they were temperamental prima-donnas whining for attention. These snot-nosed punks have it made, and they lack the good sense to realize it.

I would love to hear what Giacomo Agostini has to say about things of this nature!

We need more riders like Mike Hailwood (R.I.P)!

I think that was lame of Hacking, the story also says he was cursing in media and public areas even though it was on tape in the interview.

But on a different note, DMG is going to kill the whole series because of 2 additional things;
1)allowing a 1125cc twin to compete against 600s and the 848 Ducati twin. An 848 Buell would be fair, but 1125 is ridiculous.

2)there is no live TV. Races are shown WEEKS after the event when everyone already knows the outcome. In fact that is one of the reasons Miller Motorsports Park has turned down the AMA races during the WSBK races this summer. How can you run a successful national racing series without live or at least a 1 to 3 day delay. Weeks is just insane. There will be no additional fans and in fact they will drive current fans away.

I think Disalvo started it all. He was chatting with Eslick while Hacking was interviewing, and he didn't make a big deal about it at all. But remember, the Hacking/DiSalvo hate goes all the way back to 2006, when Hacking won the Supersport and Formula Xtreme titles the same year. Anyone remember Mid-ohio, final round in 2006, when hacking already had position and Disalvo came up the inside on a "late braking" manuever and took out Hacking. Really punk move if you ask me. I lost respect for Disalvo, too, that day. Yeah, I'm a Disalvo hater, he thinks he's world championship material and hasn't even proven sh*t here in the States. he couldn't even get within the same airspace as Mladin or Spies, so I don't know why he thinks he's deserving of a ride in WSBK or GP. Total punk.

and WTF with having a BUELL racing motorcycles 1/2 its displacement. Seems like DMG is trying to get Harley into back into racing.

They have in fact driven me and many others away!!!!!:poke:This is the worst kind of joke, just when you think it cannot possiably get any worse......Another microcosim of the state of affairs in this embattled country???. Things are just plain freaky and then, corrupt on top of that.:moon:

So, this is the purpose of Bike Racing. Make the racing so ONE marque can be competitive and limit the other makes to a much more limited ability. Just how is that racing. I see where Buell isn't seen in the Superbike levels where the other 1000cc's are found. And Yet, Ducati and Aprilia are both there and NOT demanding to be allowed to race 600 cc's with their 1000 cc twins:beerchug:

I guess I'am just NOT a Harley Fan. Low quality, Low Tech bikes and remember the AMA droped the Harley Sportster 888 series because they had NO FANS. It just erks me when rules are bent drasticly for one make (and only one make whoever that might be) to make that bike competitive :rulez:

If you were to apply their own logic to their beloved NASCAR then why the he11 dont we have aluminum block Toyota's or Overhead cams or Fuel injection in NASCAR. That is what most of these makers are building so why not race it? Because it would ruin the show you say??
