Their website has great pics. once on the bike you really dont see it. You see a nicely tucked tag and thats it.pics??
And because there‘s a risk of cracking and breaking it off at the screw fasteners as well.If I ever put a plate back on it’ll be with that. I’m worried about having it all the way forward getting hit by the tire on pulls
Its nearly the same price as purchasing to get it delivers down under ? $82 USD for postage ??Absolutely the better option. This is the 3rd tail tidy and hopefully the last that I have done. Best fit and finish of all that I've done. 100% plug and play too. It cost more but fit was worth it.
Like a relay clicking? Or electrical arc?Just installed a JL tail tidy today. I now hear an audible click when I crank the bike from rear fairing where I plugged in the new light switch. Anyone else hear this also or any idea why?
Sounds like it is coming from the tail light. Not sure how good my phone is picking up the click.Like a relay clicking? Or electrical arc?
You may pull the panel off and make sure the connection is solid. If you do that and take a video of the clicking one of us will be able to help you with it for sure. (Unplugging the light connection and seeing if it still clicks would probably be step one anyways
The click I’m hearing sounds exactly like what my bike does as well. Relay noise sounds like it comes from strange places sometimes. If you unplug the light connector does it still click? The battery and a lot of electronics are right under the seat so a lot of electrical noises come from that area in key on/start (think starter relay)Sounds like it is coming from the tail light. I haven't tried to start it yet with the light Unplugged. Maybe I just never noticed it until yesterday when I started it with fairing offThe click I’m hearing sounds exactly like what my bike does as well. Have you had it not hot start on you yet? It makes all sorts of fucked up clicks and noises then
