my battery died last week when i tried to fire up the busa when it was in the high 30s...and now today its 65 degrees out and i wanted to go for a spin but the battery is low enough on power that it cranks a few times and then thats it. HAS ANYONE EVER JUMP STARTED A BIKE WITH JUMPER CABLES FROM A CAR BATTERY?

?? i just dont want to harm anything.

as long as you do not swap up the + and - you are home free.... No need to even start the donor car, it will push too much juice to the little bike battery if you let it with the motor running on the car

I had to jump start my old Kawi GPz several times. Jump it just like you would anything else except don't have the motor running on the car/truck. Should work fine.

I bought one of those little "Power Station" unit's at Costco. It is very small and has a handle in the top so you can carry it easy. It is perfect for jump starting cars, bikes, boats, whatever.. I think I paid around $75.00 for it. You just plug it in to the wall after you use it and it recharges itself for next time. (It has it's own built in cables, so you don't have to worry about those either)..

I keep one of those in the car, that thing has saved me SO MANY times, and other people.
