Hey, S7R4NGER, don't know if you know this, but there is a small village somewhere in Portugal (forgot where) named: EL HAYA ... Looking through the albums for some pics. Wasn't riding the busa back then, but I sure as hell was hooked already.

Never heard of it...

But that name sounds Spanish. That must be in Spain. I know of a place named Ayamonte in the border on the spanish side.

After searching Google:

El Haya (Fagus sylvatica) - A tree that can reach 35 meters. Located mainly in Spain, northern region of Galiza.
Here is a pic: http://www.propical.org/fotosjpj/Haya.jpg

I grew up in several small towns in North Westeren PA. I guess I'm from a little town called Oil City, PA. Spent 1 year in Whittier, CA when I was a freshman in H.S., 3 years at Fort Drum, NY 86-89 (Just outside of Watertown), came to the Wood River area of IL from there, spent 6 months last year in Orlando, FL. Now I'm back in IL. Where am I from "lots of different places" (Highlander). Where I'll end up is anybodys guess.

Later,

Steve
