Just did bolt on exhaust

I just bolted on the carbon Akrapovic exhaust on my 06 busa. I have no performance mods except for the new bolt-ons and I need some info.

I drove it to work today after installing the last night and noticed that it has a studder at 2800. also it didn't seem to have as much high rpm pull as normal. Does the ECU have a learn function as cars do or does it need a PCM3.

I searched and searched so this is my last resort is to post. I dont wanna post stupid questions as normal newbies do but I am stuck.

Bolt-ons vary from type to type and bike to bike. Some folks bolt 'em and have not after effects. Others bolt-on and get the sputter at low RPM. Sometimes removing the PAIR will help and others require a new map. A cheap an easy to possible fix is the marble mod for the PAIR.

Thanks, I dont see many red 06's.

I did read that a full system needs a pcm but everywhere I checked bolt-ons wouldn't need one. Guess Im the lucky one who needs a tune after bolt-ons

I have also read a shitload about the pair mod/removal along with the differences between the two. Do you think that the pair sucker mod would work instead of just blocking it off?

just to the marble mod... has the same effect as the pair valve removal but takes only a few mins to do.
