I've been looking for an early Copper / Silver Gen1 Busa. But they are like hens teeth to find a good one.
Well a really nice Feb 2000 Black / Grey Gen1 with just 4200 miles came up for sale on eBay UK for £5,495 GBP ($7385 UDS).
I spoke to the wife and she said i can buy it "If i sell one of the other bikes".
So i said ok, i'll sell one of yours lol. that did not go down well lol.
So i get the funds all sorted to pay cash for this bike. I ring up to buy it only to be told that they had just got off the phone and sold it to the person who rang up just before me. I wish i rang up earier now just to put a deposit down, but i don't like doing that untill i know i have all the funds.
So the money is there now put away till another one turns up. I'm looking to buy a minter that will be a show piece in my man cave and not to ride.
