Just ordered a saddleman track cf seat , they said about 3 weeks to build .

Looking forward to trying it out .
I love mine it's what makes it possible for long days on the bike. I was able to find mine in stock online and had it in less then a week, I'm sure you'll find it worth the wait. I tell everyone that was the best money I spent for the bike. The only downfalls are that it does raise you up a bit so your a little more out of the pocket and it didn't fit quite as nice at the front where it meets the tank as the stock seats but not enough to bother me. The tabs that lock the rear in can be bent a little too help tighten the seat down, I find myself giving them just a little tweak before putting it back on to make sure it seats nice and tight.

Not rode yet but it seems comphy. I need to get rear cover mounted properly . I plan to take off old rear stock cover ,add a thin piece of gel then attach the supplied cover to match with staples .

I still need to do my rear cover too, I'm gonna take the cover to an upholstery buddy of mine and see if he can make the seat a little better for my wife when he puts it on.

Let me know how the seat feels. I was gonna get another GP-V1 but after talking to saddleman, that track seat with the center channel dug out is suppose to be the most comfortable they have.

It is a little bit stiff like most gel seats at least till it's broken in but without this seat I wasn't able to be comfortable on the bike for more then an hour or two and it's the channel that really helps me. It does raise you up out of the pocket a little bit compared to oem but that ain't with my knight design pegs keep my knees in a little better position. I recommend this seat to everyone that sees it and asks about it.

I was close to buying one pf these a few years ago, but decided on adding a Gel insert kit to my Corbin. Its on my someday list still.

Nice and tight , the saddleman material for rear seat is much thicker and stronger then stock material , when stapling apply all your weight while pulling triger to assure staple goes all the way in without bending .

My wife did the exact same thing on my GEN I. That's before we bought Corbin.

We bought several different types of material that were boat seat material, and weather-proof. She took the old vinyl off, fitted the new material on, and stapled it all back in place with the thick short staples and a staple gun.

Turned out perfect.

PS It was very affordale, and took little to no time.

I also keep them wiped down with TLC Wilson's leather lotion, but whether you do or not is of no consequence. That factory vinyl just gets hard. The cool part was the material was just plain inexpensive, and periodicaly you can change the look to suit one's taste.
