No major lightning last night in the rain showers that we had but still pulled some pretty good images... These pictures are facing towards the West which is where the rain was coming from. I was trying to grab some cloud to ground lightning but there weren't very many strikes. I started to see some really odd cloud formations. All of these pictures are taken at midnight and illuminated only by the lighting, no photoshop and no color adjustments....
If you look in the distance you can see some interesting clouds coming illuminated by lightning in the clouds, these pictures are as the storm approaches and then goes over.. That second picture just looked incredibly evil in my opinion.... Look how big it is...
