I really try to ride year round, but damn! 90+ degrees is way too hot for my bike and me. It sits in my dining room @ 68 degrees. My bike has the good life!

I really don't know how you guys do it. Im on the beach all day. It is way to hot to ride geared (the only way I do it) to ride!
Seems like the only time to ride in Philly is spring and fall. Anymore, winter AND summer stink for riding ... too cold, too hot, too wet ... waaaahhhhh
108?? Its going to be 108 tomorrow and 111 on friday around here... I think I might go cook breakfast on the sidewalk.

yeah it's only going to be 104 on thursday. i know the 03 grey/sliver dont like the heat. its sucks bring on winter
I honestly won't ride in that kind of heat either. Anything over 100 feels like a freakin' blast furnace.
The ride all of us went on last weekend had us in mid to high 90's at times. Not too bad if you are moving, but brutal when stopped.
About the only consolation was after you sat there and sweated like crazy...as soon as you had some wind, it felt great!
102 yesterday and gonna be that today and I'm riding, glad I have a mesh jacket though
it's not the heat so much as the humidity that makes it hateful.
temps been in the mid 90's here, humidity just as high, mesh jacket and a UA shirt makes it liveable for the commute.

riding home yesterday, I thought I'd put my visor up to "get more breeze" thinking it would allow me to breath easier in the heat... no.... then it was just scalding hot air hitting me in the face, faster! It physically hurt. Heat riding is fine here and there, but sometimes, ya just park it and go flop down in the A/C. AAAaaahahhhh

Summer here in Florida is murder. That said, I do usually get out on an early morning weekend ride in the hotter months. In the early AM it's cooler and the bugs aren't as bad as they are at night (hate cleaning them off the bike).
