K&P S2 oil filter oring

does anyone know where I can buy the oring around the top of the filter mine has a split in it

here's K&P's parts listing for your filter...I would assume that you'd simply contact your distributor and order the appropriate part

Housing C1
Quad Ring QR1
Filter Element FE2
Filter Element Retaining Spring FERS1
Cup Wrench CW1

derp...I see they dont list that ring!

Go to an automotive parts store and bring the old ring, they generally have cabinets of these in various diameters and should be able to match one up for ya easily enough...I know the Oreilly's around here have these in stock, at least.

I got mine from Schnitz (sp?) racing when I bought my filter. They were about $3 each, I bought 5 as I figured that would last me a long time. If you call in just ask for the 2 5/8" ones. It was on the old website but now I can't seem to find it for you on the new one
