I saw Gator Glass at Moroso (drag strip here in S. Florida) and asked them about this mod. They said it runs between $1,300 to $1,600 to do.

all you would need to do is find someone to mold the hump in clear plastic. Then paint the areas you dont want light through
I always thought it would be cool to have a plasma ball hump
or to have a skull suspended in there with light up eyes

I wouldn't mind... but I need that money for exhaust & PCM.

I would do it in dark red w/ out the "Hayabusa" on there.  Just the kanji!  I kinda enjoy when people ask me what it is!

Even been asked by a service tech at a bike shop before.... which was odd.

Then again the one they had on display had a nitrous bottle inside the hump which is visible from the outside. They had lights on the inside which illuminated it all.

My exact question was:
How much does a setup like that run?

Maybe he assumed I meant with the nitrous and all.
