KawAbuser\'s Fork Kit...

...is a sell to me...I got to see it as well as the rest of his inventory last night...racers will want to check out the Mikune top clamp and clip on set that an associate of KawAbuser's dug up for him in Japan...it is fabricated from billet and highly polished and tooled... it will allow adjustment of ride hight with an allen wrench...they were bolted up to a set of Suzuki spec Ohlins forks with the same internals as their Superbike Forks...this should be a bolt on installation with oem fender...KawAbusaer is getting Ohlin to rework a batch of Suzuki spec shocks for the Busa with ride hight adjustment as well...the Atech carbon fiber body work approaches art...even the slight distortions in the weave at highly sculpted body points were symetrical...all seams were perfectly matched...these parts appear to be hand laied, and one can only wonder what the rejection rate must be...the edges are perectly straight and wave free and finnished...that would be a good description of this product line...finnished...the pieces are very rigid yet so thin they are translucent to a strong back light...they are exact oem clones in shape, boring and fasteners...they match the Dymag carbon fiber wheels perfectly...with that magnisium single sided swing arm and some other Mikune bits installed KawAbusar will have a stunning mobile dispaly of his wares at Bike Week...(I saw some parts for a Kaw KZ1100 there too)...we will be reporting on how this stuff actualy bolts up and how the finnished Project Busa compares to Hapo's stock Busa before then...

Yes, Busa bodys are here, ZX11 parts are here, and ZX12 body sets are on order...hemillard@snet.net is where you want to go...

What colors are they, do you paint them or leave them translucent.

I hope you'll pardon my ignorance.

they are black corbon fiber with a high gloss...you could paint them but that would be a shame as they are so well laid...I would just put a layer clear coat to protect the finnish...piant has mass too, don't forget...

I bought the Mikuni triple clamp/ clipons and rearsets for my Busa. They are truly jewelery for the bike. I was also amazed like Hapo at Kawabusers inventory, he's got one great toy store!

Does Kawabuser or anyone else have the carbonfiber pieces for inside the front fairing? The black plastic looks kind of plain with the rest of the bike being a class setup.
Thanks, Jack

KawAbusaer has only the Atech parts avalable in the States that I am aware of...he has all the body parts in inverntory last I heared...

Sorry I'm not technologically advanced enough to post a picture of the rearsets. I spent the computer upgrade budget on the Mikuni stuff and it was a better than even trade!!

I do have a rough picture Kawabuser E mailed me. wknight@snet.net I'll forward it to you.

Wow - I have been away for a day and never saw this thread till today. I was up until the wee hours of the day working on the email list.

Mike K, I have had nothing but difficulty sending your information out to you (email problem with your service provider)

CBX, I am still waiting on the CF Fenderless Kit prices, fiberglass is in stock and able to ship today.

Ohlins fork kit is a vialbe product, I am just working on the luxury upgrades (ti axles and special vented fenders). About $3,000.

My email address is Hemillard@snet.net, please use "A-TECH Carbon" in the subject
line.
********************************************
If anyone has not recieved the information they requested please send me an email with
"A-TECH 2nd request" in the subject line.

As I respond to each person as an individual to answer their questions and send correct information, it takes me considerable time to do this vs sending out a "form letter" response.

Thanks again for your patience with me!
