how to adjust the cct she has 11000 but i've noticed chain slap sound before i get going a 99 with no idea if it got recalled or not runs out prettyu smooth though, thanks let me know

Suzuki should be able to run your vin and tell you if the recall has been done or not. The early busa's were sometimes known to throw a cam chain and lunch the motor from a defective tensioner I wouldn't ride it till you verified the prob.

cool thanks, was curious the tentioner on it now is blue anodized dosent look to match anything on the motor thats why i asked i will call suzuki thank you for answering.

I know that on their ( Suzuki ) recent service bulletins / recalls they have marked the VIN tag on the steering neck with a center punch. Don't know about the older issues.

you can tell without any numbers if it has been updated. the tensioner will have a oil line going to it if it's the new style. old tensioner has no hose to it..
