The side stand mod is about getting a dremmel and grinding a bit off the sidestand so it leans over a bit more. Grind the flat on the part that mounts to the frame and grind very little at a time. 1 mm or so is plenty. Important if you lower the bike for drag racing.
The TRE is a timing retarder eliminator. Mmmmmh
The standard Bus retards timing in lower 3 gears to preserve tyres. But of course who cares about that?
A cheap version is a resistor and a better version is a BBOE or rather a PBOE (plastic box of electronics), which is inserted in the loom and informs the ECU that the bike is always in 5th gear (I think that's how it works). So it gives full power in all gears.
