I know, I know.
The horror.
My buddy lives on Vancouver Island and I'm on the mainland so I gotta make these ferry rides happen. Apparently, standard procedure on the BC Ferries is to "secure" the right side of the bike with a wooden block. I'm hoping there's the option to tie down.
Step #1
THE MUST DO KICK STAND MOD!
Many thanks for that.
Step #2
Seek sage advice from the learned folks here.
If I could get specifics about tie-down points on the bike (Gen3) and brands of tie-down straps that would be fantastic. I've read a lot of posts about tying to a trailer, but I don't want to assume that the same advice is necessarily best for a ferry.
Please help!
