Kickstand Question

OK...I am lowering my wifes Busa tonight..1.25" front and back......How can I modify the stock kickstand to work with a lowered busa? Can I even do it? Do I have to have a shorter kickstand? Any help?

You could cut/weld. Maybe heat up and bend or just spend 100 bucks on an adjustable

You'll need to cut the pad off the bottom, remove about an inch from the stand, and then weld the pad back on.

If you're unsure - run it by Smithers' shop, he can do it for ya.

I just did the kickstand mod w/1" front 1.25" rear. That was enough to give me some lean angle.

Do a search for KICK STAND MOD. Might be one word, I don't remember.

My Busa's slammed (DropBusa) ive got about a 2 inch clearance and about 1 1/4 or so when im on it. i did no kick mod for it it still sits fine and to be honest with you the short kicks are good for show. But if you want some nice show get the ones that hydraulic from the pan belly.

I'd LOVE to have the hydraulics that come out of the belly in place of a kickstand, but havent been able to find them anywhere. Suggestions?
