That plug goes into a coolant passage, I don't recommend you remove it . . .
Needs to be bolted to the crankcase as close to the crankshaft area as possible.

You may want to switch to another tuner. Knock sensors are nearly impossible to make usable in a motorcycle application with an internal gear drivetrain.

that's what has me scratching my head...… I thought he said the tuner is BIG CC....
Very good point... I’ve never seen a motorcycle engine with a knock sensor, that will be why I guess!

I'd put it exactly where the guy that supplied the ecu wants it, assuming he has experience with Hayabusa engines using knock sensors. The placement is very critical with regard to the knock sensor settings.
