Yesterday I loaned a buddy my truck for a road trip (getting a new R1 from out of state).
He left me his R6 in exchange.

I rode it in to work today.... WOW! That thing is so much fun!
The steering, controls and overall stance of the bike is far different than my Busa.

It's so smooth, quick, responsive, agile and just plan ole fun!

I took the liberty to pull a couple of wheelies...
... just beautiful.... it comes up so smoothly and balances without hesitation.
It felt like it would of stayed up easily through a few more gears.
The landing... smooth as silk.
Soft and controlled...

Now I know why so many love these bikes...

Hope your truck faired as well!

Really wish I had done some riding on a higher-performance 600, but don't know if I'd feel right going back to one now.  And that is from a pure size perspective. Glad you enjoyed the ride!

Doesn't a ride in like that make for a great day at work? My co-workers are so glad when I ride to work!!

I'm guessing your buddy only took a couple of jumps with your truck.............wouldn't worry about it though!!!!

Wouldn't object to havin one to play around with at some of the local tracks (Jennings).

But I Love the Feel of the Busa... the R6 cool... but it is not a threat to my Busa.

I had both R6 & Busa for a short while. 1st thing you notice is it comes up off the kick stand real easy. Then after that it feels kinda like a moped, yeah the speed comes up when you twist yo wrist but its got this kinda No power feel when used to the boss... oh and reline is around 15K and it sounds like it's going to explode! And dont ride it more than a hour or so at a time that freakin seat is like a rock and the arms & lower back scream for mercy.

Me thinks I'll stick with the power & torque monster.

... unless maybe a track bike is in my future ...

I agree 100%. I love playing on smaller and lighter bikes, but for the overall fun factor, nothing compares to the Busa. I picked up a 250 ninja a few years back as a spare for friends, my wife, whatever, and I love zipping around town on that thing sometimes. Nowhere near the power of a 600, but fun to hear it scream at 14k rpms. I'm still looking for a good deal on a later model 600 to add to the collection.

Now Cecil........As one loyal red 04 owner to another.....
I must say, if you thought the 600 was fun....find a 04 or 05 gixxer 750 to test out. I bought my 05 Black and Blue as a stable mate to BusaReds a month ago and it definately puts smiles on my face everytime i switch from either bike. The characteristics of both are so much different and they give you a different reason to smile. Yeah the 750 is a blast and moves so nice in the twisties and pisses off the 1K owners when u ride with them. Your like a little misquito that wont leave you alone and then as soon as you forget about it bites those 1 K's in the a$$.......LOL
And then the next day jump on the busa and start listening to her sing to you as you start down the road the Aretha Franklin hit song.....R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means to me.........all the while you are just grinning and shaking your head saying, "Damn girl I missed you." ooooppppsssss, well thats my personal daily experience exposed.... LOLLOL......
