Hello all!
Brief Bio
Name is Ralph, born and raised in NW LA (Louisiana) for about 16yrs, bounced around a little, joined the Army Reserves then moved to Tampa. 22yrs later, a lovely wife, 2 beautiful kids, 2 common boas (they're gone now), 2nd dog (1st, a lab, died when I redeployed from Afghanistan 11/07), 13yr ins bus. job, life was comfortable
... and then I met Pippin!!
Pippin or "Pip" is my almost 3yr old, that I adopted this January. Adoption is such a nerve wracking experience, you never truly know what you're in for until you bring 'em home and really get to know them. I first saw her pic on the adoption agent's (stealer's) website, it was love at first sight. After working with the agent's money guy, I reluctantly handed over the $6995 adoption fee plus about $900 for a health exam, tax, and title xfer.
I haven't stopped grinning since! :bigsmile:
She's not perfect, she has been around the block a couple of times (8240miles), but she is beautiful in my eyes! Her prior parent(s) strapped her down inproperly and scratched both of her precious 'lil cheeks. That and she's got a Hotbodies Racing undertail kit. Everything else is just as she was when born.
Is Sonoma Red/Black the right color? From what I've read it is the fastest!
