At Laconia today. Actually have seen quite a few ZX14’s and two Busas. Both busas were 330 rear tire trash though. Lots of bikes. Lots of money and bad tattoos. Lol.

I find it odd. I’ve grown up around bikes and hardcore bikers my whole life. What I saw there was an odd collection of hipster wanna be bikers who probably put on about 500-1000 miles a year, older regular 9-5 guys, and some actual bikers sprinkled in. Watching people walk by the HA guys was hilarious. All kinds of younger kids buying up all their T-shirt’s and hats and looking at them like it was a tv show.

I think sons of anarchy really did more damage to the biker culture than good. These kids buy a shirt and think they are one of them. Little do they know if they were anywhere but at Laconia, they would get robbed and be walking home if they weren’t careful. I don’t know maybe I’m just getting old.

You may indeed be getting old, but you're not wrong....

I don’t think the Sons did more damage than good. Not a lot of shows dealing with motorcycles so it put eyes on Bikes. Which is a good thing for the community.

Far as thinking they are outlaws from a t-shirt this is no different than anything else they gains popularity. When Rock n Roll was popular every kid wanted leather pants and fish net shirts....??? When gangsta rap was big White kids were wearing baggy clothes , certain colors and bandannas without understanding the significance and never stepping foot in the hood. Those that were bold enough found out the hard way. Back in the day when you seen someone with a gold grill in their mouth it meant something..... Nowadays you see Miley Cyrus and the Kardashians with em!!! Recent trend that’s the hot ticket is Face tattoos. In the past you see a guy with a Face Tat more than likely he was in Prison and affiliated. Now it’s 5”3 140lb white rappers with face tats....

So kids wearing Club t-shirts thinking they are “Down for the Cause” is nothing new

Real Recognize Real and the rest will fall bye the wayside..... Or keep talking and pretending behind a keyboard

Amen. It's so funny to me how these kids act.

Years ago, my older son (who was about 12 at the time) were walking across a field and a young white, skinny, hat on sideways, pants to knees, wallet on chain wearing guy was walking towards us, he flashed some sort of sign and said "what up homies"

I laughed hard enough to almost fall down. I asked the kid where he though he was? In the hood or something? We were standing in a field outside near the military housing site and 10 feet away a ground hog was looking at us...there was literally nothing else near us for 1/2 mile or so...

Welcome to where I live. Having grown up in Los Angeles, rural America came as a shock to the system!

Funny? It’s more sad than anything...
Young people seem to get easily drawn into trends and fashion, all linked to having no sense of identity due to no idea of who they are or why they came to be here on this planet.
They reject God in the vain hope that they are ‘their own man”, and having no desire to understand or find out the big questions.... will either come to a sticky end or eventually find a path that leads to peace and understanding.
There ya go.. that’s my rant re young people today. ;)

Yes, funny. As in I laugh at these idiots who think they are tough, who think they are are gangsters, who wear specific clothing and adopt styles without any understanding of where or how they originated. Other people's stupidity is frequently funny, occasionally tragic, and constantly on display.
Life is hard, it's harder when you're stupid...

I admire you that can enjoy those kind of trips . I was dragged to the Texas Lone Star rally in Galveston Texas in 2006 . I left after a few hours . Just can't do crowds of people . Only been to one concert in my whole life.
2 Baseball games ( Astros ) 1 NFL Game ( Texans ) 1 Hockey game . Love seeing bikes , but not the people . Barber Museum on a rainy day is my favorite :)

in prison.... there have been some incidents with individuals who claim affiliation(particularly bloods)… when they ARE NOT bloods... more than a few have almost ended up dead.... protective custody they go.. but even in PC...… some fellows are "involuntary" PC.... particularly HIGH RANKING gang members can be placed there involuntarily...… so u end up with a shot caller of the bloods on the same tier with an imposter..... PERFECT.... I have my own system for dealing with these never talked about problems... but I cant even get into it.... its against "regulations"

How long have you dealt with gangs? 5 years? 10?
