Harry Landis 107 of Sun City Center, Fla

And the last remaining Female WWI Vet
Charlotte Winters 109 of Charlotte Hll, Md

Spainish American War
Nathan E. Cook  died at 106 on Sept 10, 1992
94 years after the war

Indian Wars
Fredrak Fraske died at 101 on June 18 1973
83 years after Wounded Knee

Civil War Vets
Union (YANKEE) Side
Albert Woolson died at 109 August 2 1956

Southern Side
John Salling died 112 on March 16, 1958
91 and 93 years after the War

Mexican War
Thomas Edgar died at 98 on Sept 3, 1929
81 years after the War

War of 1812
Hiram Cronk died at 105 on May 13, 1905
93 years after the War

American Revolution
Daniel F. Bakeman died at 109 April, 5 1869
86 years after the War

What is interesting to me is that All these guys could have met each other except the American Revolutionary Vet. And he could have met everyone through the Civil War. And for me, I could have met a Vet from WWI through the Civil War ! Infact I remember my great uncle who fought in the Civil War and that makes History not so far away. To me, it makes me realize all this history really wasn't so long ago

You are never forgotten.

if you were born 1990 or later in the U.S. .....you've never known life in America without being at war.

"We still have 4 remaining WWI vets

who did in fact get to live a large portion of their lives in the care of so called..."Modern Medicine Age"...yet?

"American Revolution
Daniel F. Bakeman died at 109 April, 5 1869
86 years after the War"
