Last bit of fun before new tire - some pics

Hi Guys,
Normally I would not do it, but heard that the new tire I ordered just arrived... well - time to play!!
I had another BT-015 on it, a bit soft for the torque on the back wheel and did not give distance on the open road. I bought the BT-021 (new version of the 020)
Sorry Mich-guys, but I like the Bridgestones (I actually went through the whole Mich-Pilot-range on my GSXR1000).
The 015 had not enough rubber to make it for the weekend`s Rally, so I had a bit of fun with the other guys at the Bike-club.
There`s certain things the wife will never understand... like the feeling of burning a doughnut, a good launch at the drags, a long top-end run, etc.
I think you guys understand what I`m talking about?!
Anyway, I had great fun. Thank you for all your inputs on this great site!!

I like to do mine without the front brake, then go back and see how far and straight the 2 inch wide black strip is, usually, One time I even kept it going on through 2nd and into 3rd before it grabbed....that is ofcourse by doing a slow rolling start then dumping the clutch...lol

I blew a tire doing that and it wrecked the rim, and other stuff, so no more of that for me.
Looks cool though!

did it on my first tire change, then saw pics of burnout/blowouts + damages afterwards...haven't done it since. be careful:beerchug:

I'll be installing a BT016 on mine this Spring. May have to give my old tire a nice send off.
