launching on a two step?(studder box)

anybody using a two step? say if your leaving at 7500rpms are you pinning the throttle wide open or just enuff to hit your rpm? I ran my best time leaving at 7800 on the box with the throttle pined. but most of the time if i pin it i go up in smoke. (shinko ultra soft 11psi)

I pin but im running slick+bars 7,800

Im useing delay box I HAVE found if im spotting 1 light or more got hold back little
if im on it to long bike trys inch forward cost me 1 red light so far.I cant hit 2 step till my top yellow

A guy @ my track running 1 on his kaw 14 he doesnt pin it just till it kicks on

How low you got bars mabe try raising them 1 turn each side?

I think it might leave better with the shinko slick.

I'll give that a try next time out. I try to set them at 1 3/4 inch.
