Anyone have a problem with a passenger peg staying up ? My '06 and now the '08 both suffered from lazy peg. It's under warranty, but I was just curious.
Any tips on fixing this at the house ?

take it apart and put a longer spring in it or something to shim the spring so that it puts more force on the BB and it will hold the BB in the hole when the peg is up....
I have seen where the detent on the peg is worn out. This causes the peg to not stay in position, as the spherical bearing has no positive "stop" to rest in. djsin also is going in the right direction, as sometimes the springs break.
Either way, it's not by any stretch of the imagination a big deal. No special tools, or adult supervision required.

I think they bent the disk that's a part of the system on the '06. It's under warranty, just hate wasting an hour.
