LED HEADLIGHT (ROUND)

Question. Does an led headlight have to be earthed? I’ve got all the right wiring done but now if you turn on the high beam the headlight goes out. I’m feeling so frustrated. Picture is of the headlight I bought.

That’s pretty pricy, could’ve just gotten a full retrofit for a little bit more.

That price is Australian. That’s a good price for the headlight.

As a general rule, yes anything electrical in the DC world needs an earth.
Looking at it, is looks like a H4 connection for the main light and smaller connection for running lights. The H4 should plug into the vehicles loom with no modifications if it's a H4 to begin with.
