Left Choke Open

A friend of mine got a GSXR-750 yesterday and he left the choke open for about 20 miles or so. He asked if it messed or could have messed anything up. He brought it over and although I am no Master Mechanic I ran it and didnt notice anything. What do you guys think. Told him I would ask around

i did exactly the same thing about a week ago......left the choke partially on by accident. when i accelerated up to 90mph, i felt the engine start to vibrate a little funny. when i finallly realized that the choke was on....turned the choke off and did another run up to 90mph....with the same vibration to the engine. hopefully i didn't ruin the injectors or timing

Maybe a little hard on the plugs, gas mileage, and performance (while left open) but shouldn't harm anything else.

Thanks guys. Well I didnt take it all the way to 90 but I didnt feel anything or hear anything. But if anyone else has any ideas let me know. Thanks again

If the bike is FI then all the choke lever does is put it to a fast idle. It will not have any effect on the motor except that the idle will be fast when you stop.
