Left side foot peg plate

I just bought a New Footpeg plate and it does not come with the 3 rubber bushings.I tried to take out the rubber bushings out of the old footpeg plate ,BUT it doesnt seem like it wants to come out
Is there some secret to getting them out?????? Do i need a press??????

I have you tried using a little heat on the bushing or the metal around them? This might help loosen up the bushing enough to get them out.

The part i'm refering to is actually called a Footrest Bracket,#4321-24F00.I havent tried heat,I dont want to burn the rubber in the bushing.

Then a whole lot of lube would help, maybe.

do you have a vise? If so use a socket that is just smaller then the bushing on one side and a larger one on the other side and clamp it down. You may be able to do the same thing using a hammer to hit the smaller socket.

how much are new bushes ? pita i know but if you think these will be a nightmare to remove & your obviously looking for a top job may be worth replacing them ,

I was mistaken, Ron Ayers has them for 11.64 each

However, the above reply is the one that i chose and BINGO!!! It worked!!!!!!
My vise was at home was too small so I took it to work and with the help of 2 other guys we did it! You HAVE to have al least another person to help you hold things together( from my experience) .
THanks again for your help!!
I took her for a ride today and she runs great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
