I can fax the judge a request to get an early court date (while I'm still in the southeast) or to get permission to make an absentee plea.

Or...

I can pay an attorney $1,500 to handle my case and I'd never have to step foot in Manatee Cty ever again. I spoke with one attorney in FL and he said that being drunk is not illegal and being drunk while arguing is not illegal so I stand a chance to win... because it appears no crime was committed at all.

I've got a phone appointment to speak with another attorney in the area tomorrow so maybe he'll be cheaper or offer other advice.

The cheapest way would be to get an early court date and postpone my LA move by a few days. The easiest way is to just pay an attorney. Right now I'm looking for cheap over easy. But both would be nice!!!

Sounds like you already have advice from attorney. Contact the Judge and see if you can just plead guilty and pay the fine. Disorderly Conduct is nothing. 1 question...did you ever pay the bar tab??
