Where did everyone get their insurance and how much does it cost? How many other cars/house/bikes are on it? What Age, Married/Single, Driving Record? Maybe this can help some folks to get some cheaper insurance.
I am 38, single, good driving record
and have a 1000 ninja also on the policy.
Just added the 1300 to it and recieved
my statement.
Progressive Insurance
614.00 a year.
Full coverage
Hope that helps
Dave!
When you buy insurance you can thank Suzuki for designating the bike as a GSX1300R with the R at the end. Progressive Insurance makes a distinction between GSXR's and GSX's(katana models). 42 years, no points on record, full coverage (more than minimum) $524yr with medical for rider and passenger. remember it is a GSX. Dont tell them it is the fastest bike on the planet!!
Although a TLR owner when i was looking to trade up to a Hayabusa i was suprised to find that is the same insurance group and hence price as my TLR and the R1. I'm in the UK, 36, no no claims bonus and no convictions and i pay £474
Married, 30, CDL license , no tickets, or wrecks in 10 years....State Farm..100/300 coverage, 250 ded. $542. per year.
oh yeh..and car rental...lol
Married, 29, no kids, ticket just over three years ago, so 'off the record.' I'm getting $442/year through Allstate. It helps that I have the medical rather low. Insurance through work gives enough coverage that paying for more would be redundant. Remember to take things like that into account when by insurance!
Hehe, sorry, had pasted the previous response is so I had a reference for mine, and forgot to delete it. (Still getting used to using a message board).
