I was tryin out the diffrent settings on my levers today, and now I find myself not 100% on any setting, seems I didn't take note of the stock setting. lol. Now I want your oppinion on both lever settings (number choice, for each and why) and any other helpful info on levers like finger position, and/or reasons/reviews for aftermarket levers. It is late, and I am board. Amuse me:laugh:

Thanks in advance

The setting all depend on your finger legth and personal preference. I have mine set on (clutch 1 brake 1) I just use 2 fingers to pull both in. I wear a extra large glove.

that helps; I also prefer using only two fingers. so even if the lever is resting on my other 2 fingers, and not all the way to the grip (when engaged)...this is okay?

so for instance, if at "5", you would have to bring to lever all the way to the grip?(metal touching rubber), where as if it was on "1" all the clutching action would be done further away...???

i use the pazzo shorties on both and keep em at 1. i find its the most comfy yet, even though i have big hands (my a-stars gloves are 2xl)

Those hard to install?

hm, I live 80 miles down I-40 from you:thumbsup: not many okies here

I have pazzo shorties and have mine set as close to the grip as possible. Guess I have short fingers

I thought I heard there were problems with the fit on the Gen II and they stopped selling them for now because some people were having an issue with the levers hitting the fairing on full lock. Someone correct me if I'm wrong cause I want to get a set of the Pazzo shorties for my 08.

It's hit or miss on the facts of this. From what I've researched...there were a couple reports that they were hitting the fairing. This in turn spurned Pazzo to "look into it" and possibly re-issue a new mold for the Gen II's. But who knows when taht will happen.
I have heard from many more members that say they have no issues w/ them. It's enough to make me :alcoholic:4 hehe
And they haven't stopped selling them. There are plenty of sponsors on here who will gladly sell you a set.
I'm just going to bite the bullet, get 'em & try 'em. If I have any issues, I'll sell them to a Gen I owner.

I have shorty ASV's with infinite adjustment and love them. You can dial them into whatever feels right in small increments and sneak up on your perfect place.
They fit the Gen II's perfect.
I never really cared for the 4 and 5 positions on the stock levers.
5 minutes to install.
Just me and my 2ct

Do not hit at all.

I use two fingers also, and have long fingers.

I set mine away from the grips so my remaining fingers can stay on the grips without getting pinched. They still wear finger marks on teh inside of the levers. LoL
