Levers

Hi,

I'm looking for a set of levers for my Bking. Not a fan of chinese copies, had issues with them on my old gixxer 750. In my part of the world getting a set of ASV, pazzo or the like is going to cost around $500. Yeah thanks but no thanks.

On my Aprilia I've had Vortex V3's and they have worked great and about half the price. I've noticed they make these for Gixxer 750's and 1000's as well as Gen 2 Busa. Are any of these a straight swap for my Bking ? if not any other model Suzuki levers that I could get that would go straight on ?

Cheers

The clutch lever is the same as the Busas.
The B-King's brake master cylinder is a radial Nissin, and I cannot remember for sure, but I think that lever IS different from the Busas, as the Busa uses a non radial mc.
I've had ASV's on several bikes, and their fine level of adjustment is great.

Any reason folks don't swap to that instead of the usual Brembo, or am I missing something plainly obvious?

Aside from it not being a common or easy to find part, as B-kings were only in the U.S. market for one year, 2008
(but were in Europe and Oz through 2013 or 2015).
The resivor is bigger on the B-king Nissin mc, and it will contact the inner dash of the Busa when you turn the bars fully to the left.

So I did some digging, turns out the oem part number for the bking brake lever is the same as the 05-08 Gixxer 1000. So I'll grab a Vortex V3 clutch for the busa and brake for the 1000.

There you go, I knew there was a common lever from something else, as I put shorty levers on my B-king, it's just been too long ago for me to remember what.

Aaaahhh...the rarity makes a lot of sense. Good note about the reservoir size!
