Hey all,

Do you have any pic's with mounting options? I want to get rid of the stock mount. Bike is still in the shop after accident 2mos. ago, sucks!

Thanks!

Evan, we've got another thread floating around talking about these, plus bantering back and forth about legalities.

First start here: Buy Now: License Plate Tag Brackets for Suzuki Hayabusa | Pashnit Moto

I sent out this one yesterday for a fellow busa owner:

There are 3-4 companies that make them: Yana Shiki, Roaring Toyz, PPM, Lightning, etc And the vertical ones are getting more and more illegal depending on what state you are in (they are writing actual laws banning them vs. just cop being an a$$hole & giving you sh!t about your aftermarket goodies.

First decide Chrome or Black or Stainless?
Then decide on footpeg bracket mounted or swingarm mounted?
Horizontal, Vertical, or curved?
Then decide off-the-shelf part or make your own cheapy one.

Just depends on what you want to do. Decide yet? ;)

real shame that vertical mounting is illegal in many states

I'm not expert on this, but is was AMA Mag that reported in their Sept '08 issue that Florida passed a bill (Bill 137) that requires all motorcycles in Florida to have horizontal license plates, and be incapable of being flipped up or adjusted.

Same florida bill mentioned requires that a motorcycle must have both wheels on the ground.:laugh:

i'm a sucker for stock position, then the LEOs don't mess with you depending on the state. Also make sure you light the plate. Even if you do an undertail, it's easy to mount your plate from the undertail.

I heard the same thing, I think it went into effect this month Oct...

I guess that's what happens when it gets abused (individuals positioning the plate so it's difficult to read, so the ruin it for the rest of us...)
