[LA Busa]

This show came on the Discovery Times channel last night and it was pretty cool!
It as filmed at the Bonneville Salt Flats and they had various categories of bikes that were attempting to beat the speed records for their respetive CC class and as you would expect, someone took a Busa out there and was the class of the field. The guy was a 'rookie' at the flats but he made a pretty good showing.

It may be that all of you have seen it but just in case, I made some computer files and linked them all together for your viewing pleasure.

For some background there were a lot of other bikes but I just cut them all out and pasted together the footage of the dude with the Busa. He was actually more or less competing with a experienced rider on a Kawi ZX10 but the Ninja could not get any nitrous to flow so he did not run to well.

Ya know, I went riding last night and as my spanking new face shield brought about the demise of over 16 million native Alabama winged inscets..... I had this epiphany!

We should have next year's Busa Bash at the Bonneville Salt Flats!

Ya see....I want one of those red (200 mph hour club) hats... I could maybe sweet talk somebody with one of those blue and silver bikes (RayBusa comes to mind) into letting me make a pass or three - I would need the fastest color to pull this off!
OR... I could find the TRE on my '06 (cranberry / black), remove it, send it to the paint shop and have it painted blue and silver and then re-install it.

I would then finally have a story to tell my grandchildren that will not start with 'well kids, have you ever heard of tequila'?

Yep, I had an uneventful ride last night....
