loading map  throttle shows -32%???

Im loading a map... only new change to bike since last loading is a smart tre. At idle the throttle setting shows -32%.... any ideas? tanx sj

You have to set the TPS with the paper clip jumper and then when you done loading the map you have to set the power commander to recognize the TPS. At the top of power commander screen go to utilities open it click on adjust TPS click OK for closed throttle with the throttle closed of course then go to WOT and click OK for that and you done. The numbers it reads wont make any since.It wont be 0 for closed and 100 for WOT.All of this is for a PCIIIR but USB is about the same

When loading a map mine shows that as well because its not seeing the throttle position, pull of the 9V and start up your bike.

thanks guys... mybad.... i think it was due to having the tre hooked to the wrong connector. ill find out tonite.

re-set the TPS in the powercommnader software...

Also just FYI the TPS position shown in Power Commander is only useful if your making a map...otherwise it serves no purpose.
