Well here I am in southern Oregon, and the weather is starting to get cold. The cold part isn't bad because I can dress and keep warm. But the rain and occasional snow is what keeps me from lighting off the Busa. The hardest part of winter for me is waiting for spring so I can get out and feel the freedom and power of the Busa again. I've been riding for a little over 40 years. Some say I got the 40th Anniversary edition for my 40th anniversary of riding, but I really wasen't thinking about it when I got the Busa. I saw it, fell in love with it, and some how found a way to buy it. Any how I truely miss the freedom of riding when the winter weather comes. I've only been on this board for a few months, and haven't posted a lot, but the folks here seem to be very nice. I'm really looking forward to seeing and meeting some of you at Laguna and hopefully getting some cool riding in. By the way, if there are any Busa riders here in southern Oregon it would be cool to hook and and get some riding in on one of our good weather days. I've had a lot of bikes over the years, and I can't really remember a time when I didn't have at least two. But now I have the Busa, a BMW and a Ducati and the only one that ever gets ridden is the Busa. So, for the first time I'm trying to be a one bike owner, cause the other two are not getting ridden and are for sale. Anyhow, just some rambling thoughts. Ride hard...... and ride long....

I'm Feeling for you Northern folks. I've been there, I know what it's like to have the bike at hand and not really be able to ride...

Yeah, that's for sure. Thier predicting snow in the Sisque Mountains (just above Medford, Or) for tonight. I drive a truck Sunday through Tuesday, so I'll probably really be a snow bird in the early am hours tomorrow.

Yeah, it really is an awsome bike. I Love it. I usually hang out here Wednseday through Saturday. I drive a big truck to LA and back to Medford Sunday through Wednesday morning.

Beautiful bike...I sometimes (shhhh...don't tell Caesar, that's my Busa) wish I'd bought a copper one! I didn't like 'em on the showroom floor, but then I saw one heading down the road and I thought for a few seconds "damn, I bought the wrong color!"

Sorry about the weather...here in VA it's either been raining or cold, or BOTH! Here's to a very long-azzed winter!

I've lived in florida for almost 20 years now, but when I was a kid the only thing that got me through the winter was having the bike all torn apart on the basement floor.  Maybe some upgrades this winter?   :)

Actually the other thing that helped was a hot rod car with a good heater.

I've got an 88 BWM R100 RS that I restoring. That's my winter project, actually it's into its second winter. But it does keep me occupied. When it gets back together, it will be perfect, and it will be on the auction block. Nice old bike, but I'm hooked on the power of the Busa. Any how, winter may be a beautiful time but is sucks for riding.
