Longest lasting tire?

I have put only 2500 miles on my new Busa and the rear tire is shot! I have done no burnouts or anything too bad. I would like to know what 190 has the longest lifetime. I am not concerned with compounds or traction, just mileage. I ride 20,000 miles a year and at this rate, that would be 10 tires a year! I am going to deals gap next week and a new stock tire would not even make it from New York to Tenn and back again! Thanks for any info.

I think that Dunlop makes a D205 in 180 size; I'm not sure how that would work. They are excellent sport touring tires with excellent wear, handling, and wet weather characteristics. Also, Metzler's MZ4 is very impressive, although more expensive than the 205, and probably not as long lived. Maybe some calls to Dunlop to get them to build 205's in Hayabusa sizes is in order.

I did 5000 miles with the pirelli gts 190,very good tyre ,did no burnouts but many worp speed runs handles great too,my brother has it under his suzuki rf900 ,I said too him [he is not a sporty rider]you never need a new tyre again hahaha.
I now have the pirelli evo in the front and the back ,handles great is much more stabel on high speeds, and more milages.
Oke you see for your self what is best ,I am the only one on["'normal'' pirelli,s not corsa,s I mean] pirelli,s I think on this board.DON,T KNOW WHY?

take care ride safe

one that is on a busa that is on a rear stand other than that no tire will last a real long time with that much HP going to it.

The D205 is the longest lasting tire I have ever used, and still provided excellent handling. The only problem is there limited to sizes. 180/55/17 is the largest size for the rear. Maybe with the intro of new sizes 200/50/17 they will make bigger sizes. I will use the D205's in heartbeat. They last about 25 to 30 percent longer and provide excellent performance.

Well if the rider keeps doing lauches from the line or is a fan of playing sudden pickups from the Busa's powerful mid range .... i'd say it won't matter what tyres u're using! It depends on the suspension setup and the riders weight too! As well as braking habits and style ......
