Look out for itunes charges

just checked my account and was charged $1.13 for itunes and i don't even have a itunes account. a guy i work with also has charges on his account. except they bought xbox live cards on his ( through itunes) .

Than i listen on the radio this morning and itunes.com was hacked

Look at the account the iTunes is charged to..........your credit card or hers.

this was on my bank account. assuming someone got my CC number. i called the bank and they said it was purchased on my CC card and not my wife's. this is what it says on my bank account APL*MOBILEME $1.13


Also itunes.com is down

Right now, no charges are pending. I will keep an eye out, sometimes it takes a day or two to show up. Thanks for lookin out.

They got me. I had to cancel my card and get new ones this morning. They used my card for 2 MS Xbox Live purchases of $50 each + $30 in itunes purchase. Chase is crediting my account back though. Went ahead and did the same for my bank card as it was also used on my itunes account in the past.

This is why I never use my bank card for anything other than "in person" charges. Even then I'm very careful about where my card is taken. I don't give it to servers or anyone else that takes the card out of visual sight. Bank cards dip into real money, it's not something to mess with.

How are you guys getting hacked when you have no iTunes account? Sounds like simple credit card fraud to me. The hacking pertains to people that have iTunes accounts linked to the credit cards already.

No, I mean the hacking of an iTunes account. The recent iTunes security breach was a hacking of your accounts. I was just curious.
