lookin for a drag strip

hey guys,

youngun from Hawaii here.  Haven't been to a mainland racetrack yet.  Our only local track is slated to close and when it does, i'm gonna finish up my move to NYC.  (PD is takin a long time to process me though)

There is an off chance i may want to spend some time in the bay area before I do that.  (doing my current job, union stagehand) maybe for a year or so.

just wondering where people are racing their drag bikes in these two very different parts of the country.

names and approx distances outside of the cities would be appreciated.  thanks!

Biggest drag track in the area is Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. Approx. 50-60 miles out of the NYC.

Sears Point Infineon Raceway in sonoma is about a 45 minute drive from SF. Look me up if you end up in Ca.

Thanks guys. Just checked out both of those on the web. Looks like fun. It'll be nice to finally race at a REAL track. Our little strip down here is a relic. It's fun, but beat up. Most nights they don't even prep the track (concrete showing at the line)

One more week and the busa body should be back from paint and I can start ridin her again!
