Looking for somewhere warmer

My wife and I are thinking about moving to the Raleigh, NC area. I travel for work, so as long as I'm near a major airport, where I live isn't an issue

I'm looking for a 2,000+ sq. ft. home, at least an acer of land, within 45 miles of Raleigh and most important, a good school system for my two kids ages 9 & 11.

I will pay more for a home or get a smaller home for the money to live in an area with a better school system

I've researched the internet as much as I can, I need help from people who live or know the area.

Thanks

Are you looking to live in a city or a rural area?? I've lived here 43 years. I live in a rural area about 35 minutes from the airport.

You will love it there.I wish I could pack my kids up and move back home...

Your looking in the WRONG part of the country if you wnt sun and EVERY day riding.

Looking for a rural area, a couple acres would be nice. Need to stay on the east coast, just looking to get out of the snow.
