Looking to mod the airbox & filter.

I'm thinking about doing the smallbox mod and a K&N filter. Reference power, durability, longevity, rain, dust, money, and anything else I should consider. I'd like a little more power but not at the expense of shortening my motors life. Please list the pros and cons of doing the mod.

small box mod with BMC Race filter and a P/C with a good map yep.
Although I perfer using the prefoam filter instead of the BMCrace

what is the airbox mod? I have heard a lot about it but do not totally understand what you do to the air box. Can someone shed some light on this for me?

I have never had an air filter in my busa from day one in 99. I did run one on the turbo due to it set soooooo low
