Lost map ?

I'm a retard !! I posted a few weeks ago asking if my map would be lost because my battery was almost dead. The bike wouldn't start, but it would prime itself & the lights would come on. I was going to get a battery, and POOF a month has gone by, and it's as dead as it could probably get. sooooo..............IS THE MAP GONE ?


It's probably a good thing it won't start, because I'm sure it would have ran away by now.....poor thing.

map is still there unless you downloaded another or played with the current one

I'm going to assume you're using a Power Commander. If so, this is from their FAQ...

If I disconnect my battery will the Power Commander lose it's map?

No, all Power Commanders utilize a nonvolatile memory (it does not require constant power to maintain it). The only way a map can be “erasedâ€￾ is to use a computer to load a new one in place of it.
