Low beam headlight bulb

I changed out my main bulb(low beam) for a Silverstar and found a adapter that plugs into the bulb. Yamahor's Busa is an 04' and so is mine but the hor's Busa didn't have the adapter. When did Suzuki start installing these? Just curious.

i think they all "should" have it.

it took me forever to figure out that an HB3 was a.k.a. 9005 for the high beam
